South Bay Street is considered to be the gateway to downtown Eustis. In 2013, The City received a Florida Highway Beautification Council Grant application for funding improvements to the corridor. MDG was charged with crafting the application to present existing conditions as well as potential landscape design implementations. These implementations ensure traffic safety, enhance city image and guaranteed pedestrian safety.
